What We Do / Coffee

Robusta Beans

Robusta coffee beans are primarily grown in tropical low-altitude regions of Asia and Africa, with Vietnam leading global production.

However, Africa’s coffee scene shines especially in Uganda, one of the continent’s foremost producers.

Uganda’s coffee production is projected to reach approximately 6.88 million 60-kilogram bags in the 2025/26 season, with Robusta constituting 85% of this output, highlighting its significance in the global market. We proudly supply a comprehensive range of Robusta qualities, from standard grades to wet polished and washed Robustas, with a strong emphasis on Ugandan coffee’s distinctive characteristics, supporting both local growers and international demand.

Arabica Beans

Arabica coffee, known for its milder flavour, aromatic qualities, and lower caffeine content, dominates global production and thrives mainly at higher altitudes in tropical and temperate regions of the Western hemisphere, with Brazil being the largest producer.

In Africa, Uganda plays a vital role in Arabica coffee cultivation, particularly in the high-altitude regions such as the slopes of Mount Elgon and the Rwenzori Mountains.

Uganda’s Arabica output is valued for its unique quality and is increasingly being developed with government and private sector support to boost production and access premium markets.

We offer the full spectrum of Arabica qualities, with a special emphasis on the exceptional characteristics of Ugandan Arabica, reflecting its growing significance in the African coffee sector and the global market.
