Our journey begins with a partnership between two trusted partners: Darley Investments Ltd, a heritage coffee exporter based in Kampala, Uganda and Chartered Associates Corp, a Canada-based investment banking advisory firm with global presence, to establish an international coffee and other agriculture commodities trading firm.

With decades of expertise in sourcing, processing, and exporting Ugandan green coffee, Darley embodies the values Origin Merchants was founded on — authenticity, traceability, and quality. Together, we bring Uganda’s coffee to global markets with the assurance of deep-rooted experience at origin.

But Ugandan coffee is just the beginning. Origin Merchants is built to grow across multiple origins— adding new trusted suppliers, and strategic assets to our network as we expand into new origins.
